Staff Bios

Paytime is proud that over eighty percent of our staff is FPC or CPP certified through the American Payroll Association. Most of our staff, including our hands-on management team, has at least five years of payroll experience, with some having more than twenty years!

Robert Gialamas, FPC, President
Rob has more than 20 years in the payroll and information technology industry. He has a strong operations and management background. He previously worked for Rockwell International. Rob is a graduate of Cleveland State University.

John Nasea, CPP, Director of Sales
John has more than 20 years experience in payroll, accounting, and sales. He is also one of the original founders and past presidents of Paytime. John’s extensive knowledge of payroll operations enables him to identify client needs and deliver solutions. John is a graduate of Wayne State University.

Mary Ann Shamis, CPP, Director of Finance
Mary Ann has more than 20 years experience in payroll and business management. She is one of the original founders and past presidents of Paytime. Her strong knowledge of accounting and management principles has been a leading force in bringing Paytime to where it is today. She is a graduate of The Ohio State University.

Carol Heiss, CPP, Tax Department Manager
Carol has more than 20 years experience in payroll and taxes. She previously worked for the Internal Revenue Service. Carol is the Government Liaison Officer for the Greater Cleveland Chapter of the American Payroll Association. She also serves at the national level on the Hot-line Referral Service. Carol is a graduate of John Carroll University.

Joetta Humphrey, FPC, Company Administrator/General Manager
Joetta has more than 20 years experience in management, customer service, and payroll. She was previously Director of Financial Services at The Cleveland Institute of Art. Joetta is a graduate of John Carroll University.
