Mary Ann Shamis
Mary Ann is responsible for the preparation of the Paytime corporate financial statements and tax returns, as well as internal payroll, employee benefits, insurance and management decisions. She has more than 30 years’ experience in payroll and business management and is one of the original founders of Paytime. Previous to Paytime, she worked in public accounting and employee benefits.
Mary Ann has a BS in Business Administration from The Ohio State University. Mary Ann received the NAWBO Top Ten Women Business Owners Award in 2009 and serves on many non-profit boards and holds numerous committee positions. She has a strong involvement in urban education and the Alzheimer’s Association. Mary Ann and her husband Gary have two grown children.
Robert Gialamas, FPC
Rob is passionate about integrity and customer service. For over 20 years, he has helped customers find better ways to streamline back office tasks such as timekeeping, scheduling, processing payroll, HR responsibilities, and more.
Rob’s training and experience in corporate management, customer service, business processes, and information technology serves as the basis for providing clients with the solutions that make a difference. Rob is fortunate to have a fantastic group of managers and team members who are great at what they do and are highly specialized experts in the areas we serve.
Rob and all of Paytime’s team members are skilled professionals who want to listen to your needs, provide you with the associated integrated payroll solutions that will streamline your processes, and make your life easier.
For the last 25 years, Joetta has enjoyed working in the Payroll and Human Resource industry. Her responsibilities include administrative, personnel, and facilities management. She has an extensive background in the payroll industry including payroll processes, time and attendance systems, HRIS systems integration, payroll tax compliance, conflict resolution, benefits and compensation, HR records management, HR policies development and legal compliance.
Her excellent communication skills provided her the strength to expand her position as an HR Manager and helped her promote positive changes in the work force. Additionally, she has focused her time on developing corporate Human Resources strategy and programs in relation to talent management, employee relations, meeting facilitation, performance management and workforce effectiveness to implement business strategic initiatives.
Joetta enjoys working closely with clients from many different industries and believes customer service is the key to success. Working with employees has been one of the most rewarding parts of her career. As Human Resource Manager, her strong leadership ability has been instrumental in the success of the firm.
Carol serves as the Tax Department Manager at Paytime. Carol has been with Paytime for over 16 years, where she manages the Paytime Tax Department team, filing and paying taxes for over 1,000 clients in 48 states.
Carol received her Bachelor of Science from John Carroll University and has received a Citation of Merit from the American Payroll Association.
Dustin serves as the Vice President of Sales at Paytime covering the Cleveland, Akron, Columbus, Cincinnati, and Chicago areas. His responsibilities include building a recruiting model, developing an on-boarding and training process, coaching business developers, and building and leveraging referral relationships.
Dustin entered the sales world as a door-to-door sales person where he learned the power of resiliency and, more importantly, the ability to control your own destiny. He then moved over to the professional service industry where he learned and utilized a strong sales process coupled with pipeline management.
His past experience has taught him the importance of communication and culture. He understands that everyone is different and therefore requires unique coaching.
Dustin enjoys developing and leading people, strategic training, networking, continued learning, growth opportunities, and reading.
Chris has 20 years of experience in the Human Capital Management industry. In his role as COO at Paytime, Chris is responsible for leading and managing the efficient performance of Paytime’s daily operations. He has a proven ability to advance operations and deliver exceptional service with accuracy.
Chris received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Indiana Wesleyan University. His passions include spending time with his wife and two daughters. Chris is a member of the American Cancer Society Event Leadership Team.
Ashley MillingtonBusiness Developer
As a business developer, Ashley enjoys working with firms to streamline their business and help them throughout the entire employee lifecycle.Ashley started her career at Enterprise, where she worked her way through the process and saw 3 promotions in 6 years, where she later became the Branch Manager of 3 locations before leaving. After Enterprise, she began working at a warranty company, where she worked closely with owners and finance managers to sell products and train them on the software. Ashley joined the Paytime sales team two years ago. She enjoys working with business owners, general managers, controllers, and CPA's to improve their services and walk along beside them through the entire process. She understands the importance of forging strong relationships and looks forward to helping many more with their payroll or HR solutions.
Jake McConkeyBusiness Developer
Jake McConkey is a Business Developer at Paytime. Prior to joining Paytime, Jake worked as a Sales Representative at UniFirst Corporation and Field Director at Americans for Prosperity. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Baldwin-Wallace College.
When not in the office, Jake spends enjoys focusing on causes such as economic empowerment, education, environment, politics, and science and technology.
Essie PacettaBusiness Developer
As a Business Developer, Essie manages the central and southwest portion of Ohio, along with various parts of the country. She is focused on improving business processes and procedures, as well as creating and executing business plans. Essie strives to remain on the forefront of industry changes, staying one step ahead of major market shifts.
Prior to joining Paytime, Essie served as Trauma Director for the Zimmer Midwest Distributorship and worked Research and Development for Ethicon Endo-Surgery. She received her Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dayton.
